In Delta state, an unnamed young adult has reportedly passed away after drowning in a swimming pool.
The twenty-four-year-old deceased drowned in the swimming pool of a hotel located at Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.
The incident occurred on Monday, March 11.
It was gathered that the deceased went to the hotel with some of his friends to unwind and swim.
According to reports, friends of the deceased were given floaters before they entered the pool but the deceased did not get one.
He was alleged to have drowned and died while swimming.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident newsmen.
His message reads, “Swimming pool case confirmed”.
