Zamfara: Bandits abduct College of Health Science students

• The bandits were said to have attacked the area with the plan to abduct residents but ended up kidnapping the students.

Two female students have been abducted in Zamfara State by bandits terrorising the state.

The victims are students of of College of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe.

The students were reportedly abducted on Thursday night at their residence, a rented apartment in Matuna community, in the outskirts of the town.

The bandits were said to have attacked the area with the plan to abduct residents but ended up kidnapping the students.

The Provost of the College, Hamisu Yelwa, confirmed the incident, saying the school authorities in collaboration with security agencies are putting heads together to come out with full details of what transpired.

Yelwa said security have been beefed up around the school and the community.
