Youths under the coalition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum in Kano State have praised Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, as a key driver of development in the state. During a visit to Senator Barau at the National Assembly on Monday, members of the forum from the 44 local government areas of Kano State commended him for his significant contributions to the state’s progress.

The forum’s chairman, Hon. Adamu Mukhtar, announced plans for a campaign across all local government areas. He noted that many youths from opposition parties are interested in joining the APC, indicating a growing support base.

Senator Barau expressed gratitude for the youths’ mobilization, drawing parallels to similar initiatives during the Second Republic. He highlighted the critical role that young people play in the future of Kano and Nigeria. Emphasizing the importance of electing capable leaders at all levels, Barau stated that a successful APC government in Kano State would particularly benefit the youth.

Other dignitaries present at the event, including Senator Babangida Hussaini (APC, Jigawa), Senator Muntari Dandutse (APC, Katsina), Senator Ibrahim Lamido (APC, Sokoto), and Rep. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari of the Dambatta/Makoda Federal Constituency, also lauded Senator Barau’s dedication to Kano’s development. They described him as a senator for all, committed to the nation’s progress.
