  • Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to minimize inconvenience during the installation period.
  • By taking proactive measures, the Lagos State Government demonstrates its dedication to ensuring a secure and efficient transportation system.

The Lagos state government has announced a temporary nighttime traffic diversion to facilitate the installation of a truck barrier at the Ojuelegba Flyover Bridge, near the Fire Station.

This diversion will occur from 10:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, to 5:00 AM on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Motorists traveling from Eko Bridge, Costain, and Iponri toward Ojuelegba should take the Service Lane from the National Stadium gate and connect with Barracks to reach their destinations.

According to commissioner of transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, motorists should exercise patience during this brief closure, as it aims to enhance traffic safety and prevent accidents.
