Parents of youths arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests have appealed to the Kano State House of Assembly, seeking justice for their detained children.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Malam Nura Ahmad revealed that around 70 youths were arrested and taken to Abuja, where they are reportedly being subjected to harsh treatment.

Ahmad expressed concerns over the poor conditions, stating that the detainees had not been allowed to bathe or groom themselves and were only being fed once a day.

He also highlighted that efforts to secure bail have been unsuccessful, and the detainees have been denied access to legal representation.
