The army also seized approximately 260,000 litres of stolen products during operations in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, and Delta states.

The Acting Deputy Director of 6 Division Army Public Relations, Jonah Dan Juma, disclosed this on Sunday in a statement from Port Harcourt.

He noted that in Rivers State, troops dismantled seven illegal refining hubs in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, confiscating over 60,000 litres of illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO). Similar operations in other areas led to the destruction of boats, large cooking pots, and storage tanks used for illegal refining.
