The armed non-state actors abducted over 50 women and children during the attack on Kakin Dawa village.
The enclave was invaded at about 1:30 am on Sunday with the bandits bearing sophisticated arm, a local told newsmen.
The bandits abduct the victims, which included young girls and married women, by moving from house to house.
“Everyone started running because the armed bandits have been targeting our village; later we discovered that more than 50 of our women were abducted,” he told DAILY POST.
Speaking further, he pointed out that the kidnapped victims included young girls and married women.
He appealed to the federal and the Zamfara State governments to deploy more military and security personnel to the axis to engage the terrorists.
However, efforts to get the reaction of State police command spokesman, ASP Yazid Abubakar was not successful as of the time of filing this report
