- Gunmen abducted the lawmaker while he was returning home for the Christmas celebration
The kidnapped lawmaker representing Onitsha North State constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Justice Azuka, has been found dead.
Recall that gunmen abducted Hon. Azuka, the representative of Onitsha North 1 Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 while he was returning home for the Christmas celebration.
Meanwhile, his decomposing body was discovered at the 2nd Niger Bridge by a combined security team.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Anambra State Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the development to newsmen on Thursday.
