One Eze Kingsley has been sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of one Wagbara David in Rivers State.
He was convicted and sentenced by the State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt for the crime he committed on December 7, 2018, at No. 4, Rumumasi Community along the East-West, PortHarcourt.
Kingsley was arraigned on three counts of murder and infliction of grievous bodily.
He was said to have used a sharp object to stab David, leading to his death, as confirmed by a doctor at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH.

A confrontation ensued between the duo after David instructed the tanker driver to remove the tanker from his business premises, claiming that its presence was interfering with his operations.
In delivering judgment, Justice Boma Diepiri stated that the prosecution had proven every element of the murder charge beyond reasonable doubt, and accordingly convicted and sentenced Kingsley to death.
Justice Diepiri ruled that Kingsley should be hanged by the neck until death, and prayed that his soul rest in peace.
