  • Governor Uba Sani expressed confidence that Nigerians will vote for the APC in the 2027 elections, citing effective governance and policies

  • During a rally, Sani welcomed 50 political defectors to the APC, assuring them equal rights and privileges as existing party members

The governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has expressed confidence that Nigerians will vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from ‘top to bottom’ in the 2027 general elections due to its policies and governance performance.

Speaking on Saturday at a mega rally at Murtala Square in Kaduna while receiving 50 political stalwarts who defected to the APC, Sani said the party’s popularity stems from its leadership at both state and federal levels.

“In the 2027 election, the electorate will vote for APC in all elections, from top to bottom,” he stated.

“At the top, our leader, President Bola Tinubu, will be elected. At the state level, the party will be voted for in the gubernatorial, National, and State assembly elections, by the Grace of God,” he added.

Sani also assured the new members that they would enjoy equal rights and privileges as every other party member. He emphasized that the APC remains united and will continue beyond 2027.

“Someone who joined APC today and one who has been a foundation member for 10 years are of the same status. They will enjoy the same rights and privileges,” he stated.

“The strength and dominance of our great party were in full display at Murtala Square, Kaduna, today, as I chaired the Stakeholders Meeting and Grand Rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the governor told journalists after the event.

“Political bigwigs from other parties who defected to the APC were formally received at the Grand Rally. The carnival-like event allowed us to highlight our administration’s achievements in Rural Transformation, Infrastructural Development, Human Capital Development, and Security.”
