Again, bandits attack Katsina communities, kill three, abduct many

  • One person was killed and two others were whisked away by the assailants in the first. Hours later the bandits attacked Layin Minister

At least three were killed on Friday night when rampaging bandits attacked two communities in Katsina State.

Many people were also injured during the two separate attack on the communities in Malumfashi Local Government Area of the northwest State.

A security analyst, Bakatsine, who confirmed the attack on Saturda,y disclosed that the first attack took place after Juma’at prayers in the  Karfi community shortly.

One person was killed and two others were whisked away by the assailants in the first. Hours later the bandits attacked Layin Minister.

Two people were killed, several others were injured, and many residents were abducted during the second attack.

“Bandits attacked Karfi after Juma’at, killing one and abducting two. Hours later, they hit Layin Minister, killed two, several injured and many abducted.

All the communities are situated in Malumfashi LGA, Katsina State,” Bakatsine wrote.

The authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
