In Delta State, a boy simply identified as Emem has allegedly sexually assaulted and killed his own mother.
The tragic incident happened at Eferemor Street by Ovie House, Agbarho community in Ughelli North Local Government Area.
The suspect allegedly fled the scene after the heinous crime which happened at about 10:00 pm on Thursday night.
It was learnt that the younger brother of the fugitive, who had just returned home that day, found their mother in a pool of her own blood, naked, with semen in her private parts and other parts of her body, indicating that she may have been raped and killed.
The suspect, who it is gathered is battling mental illness, has not been arrested as of the time of filing this report.
The police have evacuated and deposited the remains of the victim at a morgue in Agbarho community.
