The deceased, identified as Nyitse Orfega aka (De Prince) from Wannune Tarkaa Local Government Area of Benue State, was a 200 level student of the Department of Social Studies.

According to eyewitnesses, his friends tried to rescue him but failed. His body was later retrieved by the friends and deposited at the hospital. More photos below…
