The Katsina State Police Command has arrested a notorious gunrunner, who supply arms and ammunition to cattle rustlers, kidnappers and armed robbers hiding at Rugu forest, Safana Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect Safiyanu Amadu, 50, of Barbelu village, Bakori LGA, was nabbed on July 9, following a tip off.
Amadu was chased and arrested deep inside Rugu forest and two locally made revolver pistols and one 62mm life ammunition of Ak.47 rifle were recovered from his possession.

The suspect has confessed to have intends selling same to cattle rustlers inside the forest. He is currently assisting the police in their investigation.
