Corps members seat on the floor while Davido addresses them (Video)

Today at the Iyana-Ipaja permanent National youth service corp orientation camp in Lagos, Davido addresses corps members while they are all seated on the ground and the video is currently going viral.The superstar singer, can be seen walking around, closely followed by soldiers and the officials, while Davido gives his speech and they render their usual morning meditation.

There was serious commotion earlier today at the NYSC camp in Lagos state this morning when Davido resumed for service.

Other corps members could be seen struggling to catch a glimpse of the singer who is participating in the mandatory service.

The popular Nigerian singer who just began his NYSC took to his twitter page to share pictures of how he was welcomed at the camp today by his fellow corps members.

Comedian Ayo Makun aka AY took to his social media page to react to the commotion saying the camp should be called Davido Youth Service Corp.

He wrote;

‘This is @davidoofficial arriving NYSC camp as a Corper. Who is serving who? No number one citizen of Nigeria don get this kind welcome for NYSC camp before. Please permit me to call this DYSC (Davido Youth Service Corp). More importantly, I am so proud of Davido. Education is our passport to the future, no matter the amount you have in your bank account. I hope those who are planning to run away from school to become a Davido is seeing this?’
