Davido‘s political support for his uncle Senator Adeleke can almost be said to be the first of its kind in the Nigerian music scene.
While many people have come to respect the artist for this show of solidarity, some of his fans are not pleased with the fact that he is playing ‘family politics’.
Davido, who was a strong member of the campaign team of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate has been invited to perform at APC governorship candidate, Gboyega Oyetola’s thanksgiving party. This is coming few hours after his Uncle lost the same election to the ruling party who is inviting him to perform.
Johannes Tobi who is one of the members of President Buhari’s media team made this offer to Davido who is also known for an electrifying stage performance, see his invitation below.
