A driver who lost control of his car, reportedly plunged into a canal in the incident which occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
It was gathered that the accident occurred at about 5:30am along Azikiwe road near Civil Defence Headquarters, Umuahia, Abia state capital. The driver who lost control of his car, was rushed to hospital alongside his passenger.
