In Nigeria, it has become a widely accepted assumption that a man’s mother is often an obstacle in her son’s love life as she tries to make life unbearable for his girlfriend or wife as the case may be.
Most male children are very close to their mothers and when they are old enough to be in a relationship, some ladies can be discouraged after they notice the bond between a guy and his mother. This is usually because they are fearful of competing for his attention.
However, that is not always the case seeing as a Congolese lady identified as Naomi Labelle (@NaomiLabelle_) recently took to her Twitter page to share a sweet message her boyfriend’s mother sent to her.
The obviously smitten mother referred to the lady as her darling princess as she showered her with several accolades. The mom even went ahead to thank Naomi for blessing her son’s life with silver and gold.

Well, whether the message is made up or not, it is a sweet gesture that should be emulated by mother-in-laws.
In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported on the sweet moment music star, Burna Boy, reunited with his mother Bose Ogulu, after her speech at Soundcity MVP Awards.
In the video, the mother and son gave family love a new meaning as they were seen hugging each other with so much love and happiness.
The video showed Mama Burna hailing the Ye crooner as she walked towards him to give him a warm hug.
