Osinbajo’s chartered helicopter had crash-landed in Kabba on Saturday. Caverton group had earlier attributed the chopper crash involving Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and 11 others to hazy weather conditions.
Briefing the media yesterday, Capt. Josiah Choms, the Managing Director of Caverton Helicopters, disclosed that an Augusta AW139 chopper which conveyed Osinbajo and his team lost control as it was about to touch down, at about 3:00 p.m., in Kabba, Kogi State.
The tweet read; “A true statement of our commitment to safety and professionalism the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo as he continues his campaign flying with Caverton.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Sunday commenced investigation into Saturday’s crash landing of the helicopter.
