A popular Nigerian singer has taken to social media in celebration of a close relative who has just added a new year.
The singer identified as Adekunle Gold, took to his Instagram page with a heartwarming post which was penned to his loving younger sister.
In his post, he wondered how time had gone by so fast and how his little sibling had now grown into a young lady.
He reminisced about the good old days and revealed how he used to be envious of her whenever she held the first position, when they used to be in school.
Gold also described his sister as one of the most intelligent people he has ever met in the world. He wished her a happy birthday celebration and expressed his love for her.
He posted saying: “Fadeke?!! How are you even 28?! ♂ My sister isn’t so little anymore. I remember how after every term in school you would come 1st in your class and come back home with your results like it’s nothing. I used to be very envious (lol) because your head teachers comments always looked good, unlike mine that almost always said – “He’s too playful, do better next term.
“You are one of the most intelligent people I have ever known. Happy Birthday to you and mom. Love you two a lot. @thatlagosgirl PS. I still don’t know what happened to your dance skills, I used to be angry you could dance and I couldnt. “
