A Nigerian man has got himself trending after a video which shows the moment he got down on one knee and proposed to his boyfriend emerged on social media.
The excited newly-engaged man identified as Broliviapope on Twitter seemed to have had his joy and blessing doubled. He shared a photo of himself and his partner as he popped the question and revealed that he recently graduated with a Masters’ degree and thought to ask his partner to walk life’s journey with him.
In the video clip, the couple can be seen receiving applause ad they both agreed to make it official. However, they were mixed reactions on Twitter as some Nigerians condemned the act, saying it is against God’s will for two men to come together as man and husband. Broliviapope and his partner however could care less.
They seem to have chosen their path and were very much excited about what the future holds for them as they begin the next chapter.
