Davido’s ‘Risky’ is a remake of Davido’s viral rap freestyle ‘kilo kan mi’. Davido’s featured Jamaican patois crooner, Popcaan.
The song which is a fleshed up version of his viral rap freestyle ‘kilo kan mi’ on Hot 97, New York in February 2019, is said to be the lead single of his upcoming album, ‘A Good Time.’
“Risky” is such a massive record, and evident in its success is the massive number of streams it’s been getting across all digital platform. From being the number one record on Apple music to amassing over 4.3 million streams in a week on YouTube to other similar achievements.
The record has now reached another milestone as it reaches one million streams on Spotify. Considering the fact that Spotify is not a digital platform that could be accessed in this part of the world, it has done really well and surely has joined the few Nigerian records that have reached such massive numbers in the shortest of time.
“Risky” is doing really well in the country and since it got released has become the most played record on Nigerian radio.
