EFCC nabs 42 suspected Internet fraudsters in Ogun

A cross section of alleged internet fraudsters

No fewer than 42 people have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly involving in internet-related fraud in Ogun state.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the suspects were arrested in Ilaro area of Ogun State by the Ibadan Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency.

The anti-graft agency disclosed that the suspects whose ages range between 18 and 33 years were apprehended at different locations of the state.

The suspects were apprehended after the agency followed actionable intelligence earlier received by the Commission on their alleged illegal activities.

Items recovered from them include eight exotic cars, mobile phones and laptops.
