As the world battles the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic, popular clergyman, RCCG general overseer, Pastor E.A Adeboye has assured people that as far as a person is hidden in the secret place of the Almighty, no virus can come near such a person.
In the video posted on his verified Instagram handle, the clergyman said
“I want to assure you that there is no virus that can come near you at all because it is written that those that dwell in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I believe that this is a time for God to show you clearly that there is a difference between those who serve him wholeheartedly and those who do not”.
However, his comment stirred up reactions as Nigerians are expressing their displeasure over the video. They argue that it is unfair for the clergyman to insinuate that those currently infected by the virus are not hiding under God’s shadow.
