Men of Lagos State Police Command have arrested a prophetess identified as Evelyn Owoleke of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church situated in Bayo Ajao street Aboru in Lagos state after a woman identified as Seun Olorunto died while giving birth inside her church on May 4.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the prophetess identified as Owoleke was arrested after one Olaloye Jolayemi reported at Oke Odo Police Station that Seun Olorunto died after she was delivered of a baby boy by the prophetess in her church.
It was also learnt that the deceased was found lying in the pool of her blood when homicide detectives in the state command visited the scene which suggested that the deceased person might have bled to death due to complications.
The dead body has been transported from the church to General Hospital Yaba for autopsy while her baby was taken to hospital for medical examination and care.
Men of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested the prophetess and taken to the state CID Yaba while investigation into the matter is ongoing.
