Earlier today, there was panic in Anthony Village area of Lagos state over a “white chemical” that was spotted surging from the ground and spreading into streets.
Residents were left in shock and confused about the development, and this prompted a Twitter user to share the video as he called on the Lagos State environmental services to come to their aid.
“Please can someone help to tag Lagos State environmental services if there is any. We trying not to have human contact with, but it is blocking every path in the Estate. This is Anthony Village.” He wrote.
Responding, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media, Gawat Jubril A, explained the reason behind the foam.
According to Gawat Jubril, a tanker fell overnight and emergency agencies poured foam material to prevent combustion.
