Four Super Eagles players have tested positive for coronavirus.

The Eagles are in Austria for friendlies with Algeria and Tunisia on Friday and Tuesday respectively.

Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, who refused to mention the affected players, however stated they were fine.

According to him: “I won’t reveal their names, they are fine now.”

Another round of tests was conducted on Thursday afternoon before the game against Algeria on Friday.

It would be recalled that two of the players currently in camp Paul Onuachu and Samuel Kalu tested positive at their respective clubs before now.

Earlier, the Nigeria football governing body, NFF had disclosed that the Covid-19 test has been made mandatory by FIFA.

“The tests will be conducted 24 hours before each of the matches.”

Friday’s encounter against Algeria will take place at the Worthersee Stadium, Klangefurt. Kick-off is 7.30pm Nigerian time.

The friendly encounter against Tunisia will hold at the Jacques Lemans Arena.
