PHOTOS: Residents pray over incessant bandit attacks and killings in Zamfara

Muslims who are residents of Zamfara state on Thursday, October 22 reportedly conducted prayers to seek for Allah’s intervention against increasing bandit attacks and killings in their state and the north in general.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the prayers which were conducted in Dansadau, Maru LGA and Bagega of Anka LGA were led by Imams of towns and in all local governments across the state.

Recall that on Tuesday night, armed bandits attacked Tungar Kwana village in Talata Local Government Area of the state and killed 20 persons.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that fewer than 22 people have been killed by bandits in Tungar Kwana village of Talata-Marafa Local Government Area of Zamfara state on Tuesday night.

According to an indigene of the village, Malam Ahmed Mohammed, the bandits numbering over 100 invaded the village around 11 pm where they began to shoot people indiscriminately.
