The Ebonyi State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Chika Nwoba, has resigned his position.
Nwoba in a statement on Monday expressed gratitude to the APC and its leaders for finding him worthy to be elected to the position in 2018, at the age of 27.
Citing reason for the resignation, Nwoba said “I cannot work with Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi.”
In a related development, the Chairman of the Ebonyi State chapter of the Action Peoples Party, Chinedum Elekwachi, has dumped the party and joined the Peoples Democratic Party.
Elekwachi, disclosed this to newsmen, in Abakaliki, on Tuesday. According to him, he took the decision after consultations with his family, friends, associates and political mentors.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi left the party for personal reasons, which Nigerians will come to know at the appropriate time.
The party while wishing Umahi the best in his adventure called on the PDP members to remain calm and committed to the ideals of the party, saying no individual is bigger than the PDP.
