Burna Boy’s ‘Twice As Tall’ emerges most streamed Nigerian album on Spotify in 2020

BBNaija: Burna Boy previews 'Twice As Tall' album to housemates

Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, a Nigerian Afrobeats and Dancehall artiste, continues to shine in 2020, as the self-acclaimed African giant has attained a new feat courtesy of his latest album, Twice As Tall.

Twice As Tall secured the Number 1 spot on the most streamed African album on Spotify in 2020 with over 64 million streams to its credit.

The rating is for albums that were released in 2020.

Burna dropped the album four months ago much to a warm reception from fans who gave it positive reviews.

In the second place on the chat of most streamed African music on Spotify for the year is Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’, while songstress, Tiwa Savage’s Celia comes third.

Still on the  much celebrated album, ‘Twice As Tall’, the project got Burna Boy a second nomination into the Grammys.

The Twice As Tall project was executive produced by American rapper and businessman, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as well as Bose Ogulu, Burna’s mum.
