Flavour’s baby mama and former beauty queen, Anna Ebiere aka Anna Banner has shared her experience with depression and also told her fans that she once contemplated suicide.
The 25-year-old and mother of one shared the different struggles she has encountered on her Instastories on Monday.
She said she was ashamed of her body and some of the decisions she had made.
“We don’t have it all figured out! I was suicidal at some point in my life! I never knew what depression was until I experienced it! It wasn’t pretty at all! I was ashamed of my body, I was ashamed of some decisions I made,” she wrote.
Anna also said her birthday this year will be a reminder of how she has been able to pull through.
“My birthday this year is a huge reminder of how i’ve been able to pull through! I felt like i’ve been caged for almost 6 years of my life,” she wrote.
In November 2020, she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Rural Development and Ecotourism in Ghana.
Announcing her achievement, Anna shared graduation pictures on Instagram.
She said, “It can only be God! BA Rural Development and Ecotourism. 2nd Class Upper.”
Anna is the winner of the 2012 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant.
She welcomed her daughter Sofia with singer Flavour in 2015.
