In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Lt Gen Tukur Buratai (Rtd), the immediate past Chief of Army Staff has reacted to the position of the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party against his nomination as a non-career ambassador.

Recall that the main opposition party, PDP had described the nomination as a plot to shield the ex-Service Chiefs from investigation over the “killing of innocent Nigerians and crimes against humanity” under their leadership.

This was disclosed by the immediate chief of Army staff while addressing journalists after a special gala night organised for him by members of the 29th Regular Course Association of the Nigerian Defense Academy in Abuja on Saturday February 6.
