The simmering tensions between Nollywood star Regina Daniels and outgoing Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president Emeka Rollas boiled over on Thursday, November 20, after the actress posted a fiery Instagram story accusing him of incompetence, corruption, and personal misconduct.
Regina Daniels, who said she once respected Rollas as a father figure, called him “a disgrace of a president”and claimed he spent eight years enriching himself instead of protecting actors. She accused him of failing to enforce residuals, neglecting actors’ welfare, and only opening one AGN office in seven years, which she claims her family largely funded.

The actress went further, alleging that Rollas repeatedly brought women to her family home under questionable pretences and used similar tactics with other wealthy men. She also accused him of accepting “chicken change” to discredit her mother, actress Rita Daniels, who is pursuing an AGN leadership position.
Regina ended her post with a bold declaration of support for her mother’s candidacy, saying the industry needs “a beautiful chair lady with advanced male advisors.”
This comes hours after Emeka Rollas released a lengthy seven-part statement addressing controversies surrounding his tenure and directly referencing Regina, her mother, and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
He claimed Regina “needs help,” cited episodes involving her alleged smoking habit, and accused senior actors of staying silent despite witnessing incidents firsthand.

Rollas also disputed claims that Ned Nwoko donated ₦200 million to the AGN, insisting the money was for Regina’s film project, not the Guild. With AGN elections weeks away, he maintained he would resist any attempt to disrupt the transition process and vowed to defend his legacy.
The public clash has now evolved from internal guild politics into full-blown Nollywood drama. See screenshot of Regina’s post below:
