Abducted OOU female students released

The two female students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule, who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen have been released.

The Executive Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun announced the release of the students on Tuesday night via his verified official twitter handle @dabiodunMFR.

The governor appreciated the police and other security agencies for their involvement in the release of the students.

His tweets read “This is to announce that we have secured the release of Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule – both OOU students recently kidnapped in Ayetoro.

WITHIN NIGERIA recall that the two 300 level female students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ayetoro campus of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ogun State,  were on Monday abducted by unknown gunmen.

The students were said to be studying Forestry and Wildlife Management and  Agricultural Economics respectively.
