BREAKING: Lagos police redeploy DPO who lost gun after alleged office sex
Lagos State Police Command has redeployed Denton Divisional Police Officer in the Ebute Metta, CSP Adegoke Atilade following his missing service pistol after alleged office with one Jennifer Madueke.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Atilade arrested 29-year-old Madueke over his missing gun and transferred her to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, after detaining her for three days at the Denton Police Station, Ebute Meta, Lagos.
The Command’s spokesman, Adekunle Ajisebutu, in a statement on Friday said the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered a thorough probe into the case.
According to PUNCH, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, said a new DPO will resume at the station anytime from now.
Ajisebutu, however, did not disclose the new place of assignment of the embattled officer.
