Update: Suspected pedophile remanded for allegedly molesting three boys in Port Harcourt

27-year- old suspected pedophile, Oshua Efe aka Ekpeye accused of sexually molesting three boys has been remanded by a Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Efe was allegedly caught while sexually molesting the minors aged 9,11 and 12 years at Diobu Mile 3 area of Port Harcourt.

Efe was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Rita Oguguo on Monday, November 1.

Judge Rita Oguguo ordered that Efe be remanded in the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre and adjourned the case to November 18 for hearing.

“Chief Magistrate Court 15 presided over by Chief Magistrate Rita Oguguo on Monday remanded Joshua Efe aka Ekpeye who allegedly assaulted four boys aged 9,11.12 and 16 in Port Harcourt Correctional Centre and adjourned to November 18 for hearing,” human rights group said in a statement on Tuesday.

“In the picture is a lawyer Mrs Jane. O. Okpamen holding watching brief for the four complainants on behalf of Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign and Prince Wiro, National Coordinator of the Centre with the four teenage boys after the court sitting on Monday evening.”
