Gunmen suspected to be bandits abducted five factory workers in Tegina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
It was gathered that the bandits numbering about 10 and armed with AK47, stormed the community at about 9pm on Saturday, went straight to a sachet water factory adjacent Government Girls’ Secondary School and abducted the workers.
According to Daily Trust, a source said they were caught unaware because the bandits stormed the place on foot before they started shooting.
The source said; “They caught us unawares because they came on foot. We just started hearing gunshots and we ran for our lives. They went to the sachet water factory where five persons were taken away.”
