Unknown gunmen stormed Olla town in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara state and kidnapped one Olujala Adegboja, said to be brother of the monarch.

It was gathered that Adegboja has a farm around the area where he was ambushed in a van on his way home from the farm at about 7pm.

Spokesman of the Police Command, Okasanmi Ajayi, who disclosed this on Sunday said that the anti-kidnapping and other tactical teams in conjunction with local hunters and vigilantes have launched a search and rescue mission for the victim as directed by the state police commissioner.

The kidnappers, who shot sporadically before kidnapping the victim, demanded N200m ransom for his release but later reduced it to N10m.
