Gunmen shot an unidentified man dead along the Okpolu-Rumuigbo axis of Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State.

According to PUNCH, an eyewitness said the incident happened on Sunday evening when two men had intercepted the victim, during which an argument ensued along the road.

The eyewitness who did not want his name mentioned due to the sensitive nature of the incident said though he did not hear what the argument was about, but said they were talking in loud voices before one of them brought out a gun and shot the other.
