Jigawa State Hisba Command has arrested twenty-five commercial sex workers in Kazaure local government.
This was revealed in a statement issued to reporters by the Hisba Command’s spokesman, Muhammad Sale Korau.
He clarified that the operation was headed by the state Hisba commandant, who was successful in apprehending 31 people in Kazaure Local Government.
He stated that 25 commercial sex workers and six men were among those detained in connection with the alleged sale of alcohol at Gada in Kazaure.
However, the command reaffirmed its commitment to combating all social vices in the state.
He said the suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation.
