Several bandits have been killed by troops of the Nigerian Army during clearance operations around Idasu, Fatika and Makera forests in the Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who made this known on Tuesday, said based on operational feedback from the troops, many bandits were confirmed killed while several others fled with gunshot injuries around interstate boundaries.

Aruwan, therefore, sought cooperation from the general area over suspected individuals seeking medical attention that might have to do with gunshot injuries.

“According to the report, many bandits have been confirmed neutralised so far, while others still fled with gunshot injuries to the Hayin Siddi area around the interstate boundaries.
