Mrs Aramide Adeyoye, the Special Adviser (SA) on Works and Infrastructure to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge will make room for expansion, curb gridlock and spur development to neigbouring communities.
She said this on Saturday during a stakeholders meeting with some boundary communities in Lagos and Ogun states.
The meeting was for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA) of the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge on Arepo, Opic, Isheri, Igbogbo Baiyeku, Agric-Owutu, Ishawo, Tapa and other adjoining communities.
Adeyoye, who was represented by Mr Tokunbo Ajanaku, sought the help of the stakeholders towards the execution of the 37-kilometre road with 16 routes, adding that three bids were in their final stages and captured the interests of the communities in mitigating environmental impacts.
