Emeka Ibe hails from Idemili South Local Government Area in Anambra State, he was reportedly caught in the act with his accomplice in an abandoned building by youths of the community, who seized him while his partner escaped.

According to eyewitnesses, Ibe claimed to have been introduced to the act by one Emmanuel Okeke in January 2016 at Awada Layout, Idemili North LGA, Anambra State.

He stated that his ‘teacher’, Okeke, aged 42, who is also known as ‘Gay Master’, was declared wanted by the vigilante in Idemili in January 2016, and had not been seen since the incident.

Ibe disclosed that Okeke fled to South Sudan and was now married. One of the sources claimed that Okeke later escaped from the local vigilante.

“The suspect said he has been into the act since 2016 when one Emmanuel Okeke introduced him to it. He also told us how vigilante arrested him and his master, Emmanuel Okeke, at Idemili and how Okeke escaped from the vigilante.

“The suspected homosexual said he had introduced over 50 youths to the act. Some people saw him and his partner naked, clinging to each other in an abandoned building and alerted the youths of the community.

“His partner escaped, but the youths caught him. They beat him and he confessed to have been a homosexual since 2016 and has introduced many people to the act,” the eyewitnesses said.

Another youth in the community, who gave his name as Kelechi Onu, said the suspected homosexual was handed over to the police.

However, efforts to get the reaction of the Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Anthony Ogbizi, failed as he did not pick calls put to his mobile line.
