Two persons were killed, others injured and not less than seven shops were reduced to rubbles after a trailer driver rammed into shops in Abagana, Njikoka LGA of Anambra State.
The trailer driver said to be carrying his wife and two children lost control and veered off the road, instantly killing two boys in one of the shops used as a pub house on Monday.
The horrific incident, which happened directly opposite the National Open University of Nigeria, Abagana, had eye witnesses and by-standers complaining of high speed and possible intoxication on the hand of the driver, who is currently in police custody.
One of the victim’s sister, Precious narrated how he died.
“He just stood up to go and pee, when the car fell break and knock my brother down beyond recognition” she wrote.
