It was gathered that over the weekend, the police officer who worked in Ajah area of Lagos, was driving towards his home in Happy Land Estate, Olokonla, after closing from work.
Unknown to him a truck (trailer) was abandoned on the road by its driver – with no visible cautionary sign. The officer ran into the truck and got crushed to death in the process.
The corpse of the officer who is survived by wife and children – has since been deposited in a morgue.
