New Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard has decided to take a closer look at French defender, Kurt Zouma before the club decide whether or not to sell him to Everton, according Starsports.

Zouma has been touted to stay at Everton, with a £30m offer being floated by the Toffees.

But the newspaper reports that Lampard will not be rushed into a decision over the centre back’s future.

Zouma was part of Chelsea squad that jetted off to Ireland for pre-season training on Friday.

But with a number of options already ahead of the 24-year-old at the Blues, a deal is not dead in the water.
