The world football governing body on Friday, 16th August, banned Siasia from all football-related activities, after being found guilty over bribery and attempt to manipulation of matches at international level.
As a result of the ban, Samson Siasia will not be able to coach any team for the rest of his coaching career.
Nollywood Actress Uche Jombo has reacted in shock to FIFA’s decision to impose a life ban on former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia. Siasia was said to have broken FIFA codes of ethics after accepting to receive gratification in ‘relation to the manipulation of matches’.
The decision was notified to Mr Siasia today, the date on which the ban comes into force.
Reacting to the news, Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo Tweeted;
‘this Samson Siasia matter is bad for naija football…handed a life ban by FIFA and fined $50k for “accepting” to take bribes to manipulate games’.
