The youngest son of legendary Afrobeat godfather Fela Kuti and Grammy awards nominee, Seun Kuti has joined other Nigerians to condemn the alleged re-arrest of Sahara Reporters publisher and Convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore in a Gestapo way by the DSS Operatives.

Seun Kuti who disclosed in a new video that President Buhari knows that Nigerians will never stand up for people who stand for them and this has been a factor responsible for the continued victimisation of Sowore and other active Nigerians.

The Grammy awards nominee further revealed that his father was once a victim of government’s victimisation and narrated how his father was dragged half naked in the presence of thousands of Nigerians yet nothing was done by the people he suffered for.

In his words, the popular Afrobeat musician stated that the government and elite class know that the Nigerian professionals are their biggest accomplice which has not in any way helped the nation.

According to the youngest son of Fela Anikulapo, he further added that “That’s why you can’t stand up and down tools for Sowore even after the courts of LAW that we all claim to obey has been spat on. I know the truth though cos the stigma of loving the African people is one I’m familiar with! How dare he?! Who does he think he is?! Hmmmm.
