JUST IN: Lawan names Omo-Agege chairman constitution review committee

The President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan has said that the Deputy President of the Senate will Chair the Constitution review committee of the Ninth Assembly.

Lawan who said the committee would be inaugurated soon said the task has traditionally be saddled on the office of the Deputy President of the Senate and this will not change under his watch.

The President of the Senate who addressed the media at the guest house of the President of the Senate said the Senate would also meet with revenue generation agencies to provide the legislative intervention that would enable them to meet their revenue target and successful implementation of the budget.
