Coronavirus: Lagos monitoring 349 persons from endemic countries

No fewer than 349 people from countries where Coronavirus have been confirmed are under close monitoring as revealed by the Lagos State Government on Saturday, March 8.

This was revealed by the Lagos State Commissioner of Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi via a tweet shared on his official Twitter handle.

According to the commissioner of health, no fewer than 50 new samples have been collected for analysis.

The tweet reads;

“One confirmed case identified. 50 new samples collected for analysis.

“349 Persons of interest from endemic countries under follow up. Training of stakeholders and awareness on #COVID19 ongoing.”
